Multilevel Promotion
Multi-level advertising networks give you a free web page to promote on which you can place your own banner or advertising link. Additionally each person you refer to the network gets their own similar page, which includes their banner or advertising link in addition to yours. This process then can, at least in theory, repeat through a number of levels.
The idea of this system is that you can therefore to generate a lot of links to your site quickly. For example if you refer 10 people, they each refer 10 more people, and then they each refer 10 more people, that's 1,000 links to your site.
In reality, things may not work out quite like this:-- Many members may struggle to refer 1 other, let alone 10.
- Even if these did work as advertised, the number of people required for the system to continue, would soon be absolutely astronomical (more than the number of people on the planet).
- The links may be less valuable than "real links" (from reciprocal links) - for example, the pages may not get indexed into search engines (especially if they contain a ? character), or most people viewing them may only be interested in getting more traffic to their own web sites, and not getting/sign-up to your E-Book which is probably, not related to this topic at all.
